Helén Antonsen Heyler

Helén Antonsen Heyler is a sclerotherapy practitioner and medical student at the University of Oslo, with several years of experience in vein treatment, surgical assistance and patient follow-up. Since 2022 she has worked as a surgical assistant and sclerotherapy practitioner at Åreknuteklinikkene, and since 2024 she has held similar responsibilities at Akademiklinikken. She combines practical clinical experience with ongoing professional degree programmes in medicine and psychology at the University of Oslo. Care at CMedical is provided within the clinic's medical routines and in collaboration with responsible clinical staff.

Background and experience

Helén began the medical degree programme at the University of Oslo in 2021 and the professional psychology programme in 2022. She has worked at Åreknuteklinikkene since 2021, first in reception, patient follow-up and assistance, and from 2022 as a surgical assistant and sclerotherapy practitioner. Since 2024 she has also worked as a surgical assistant and sclerotherapy practitioner at Akademiklinikken. She has completed observational placements in vascular surgery and in the Department of Gastrointestinal and Paediatric Surgery at Oslo University Hospital, and has been a research assistant in a memory project at a geriatric research department. She also holds a bachelor's degree in HRM – Administration and Management from Nord University.
