Dr. Brevik is one of Norway's most experienced vascular and varicose vein surgeons, and one of the very few who offers private and insurance patients a full vascular surgical assessment and work-up for varicose veins, venous insufficiency in lymphedema and lipedema, claudication (poor circulation in the legs, pain when walking), Raynaud's syndrome (white, cold fingers), aortic aneurysms (widening of the main artery in the abdomen), the carotid artery (assessment and risk evaluation), iliac artery syndrome (endofibrosis and compression of the pelvic artery in cyclists), and second opinions in vascular surgery (renewed assessment and information).
Dr. Brevik has been very active in the vascular surgery community through the Norwegian Society of Vascular Surgery as chairman, deputy chairman and board member from 2014 to 2019. Since 2020, he has been recruited to work at the vascular surgery department at Haukeland University Hospital.
In total, Dr. Brevik has been engaged in private healthcare services since 2014 (Volvat, Hamarklinikken, CMedical), and has operated on over 2,000 patients with varicose veins using the most modern and gentle methods.
Today, Dr. Brevik works at CMedical in Moelv (all examinations) and Majorstuen (varicose veins and claudication).
