Tom Henry Sundøen is an orthopedic surgeon and traumatologist with particular expertise in advanced arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee and ankle. He is one of few orthopedic surgeons in Norway who performs hip arthroscopy, and therefore sees patients from all over the country.
At Colosseum Faust in Moss, he performs advanced orthopedic day surgery. The main focus is shoulder, hip and knee surgery. He can refer to both public and private hospitals. Regularly uses injection therapy via ultrasound to ensure correct diagnosis. Long experience with MRI interpretation of the musculoskeletal system. Over 10 years of experience with the use of platelet-rich plasma, PRP.
Tom Henry has a basic medical education from Germany and is a Norwegian specialist in orthopedics/surgical orthopedics. He also has solid experience in traumatology, sports medicine and prosthetic surgery.
He has worked as a consultant at various hospitals and has been instrumental in building a well-functioning day surgery unit at Volvat Fredrikstad.
