About Marc
Dr. Marc Jacob Strauss is a specialist in orthopaedic surgery and a certified sports medicine physician through the IOC. He has extensive experience in advanced knee surgery, with particular expertise in sports-related knee injuries, cruciate ligament injuries, and complex reconstructions.
Marc has worked in a number of leading national and international institutions. He has completed a fellowship with Professor Lars Engebretsen, served as a research fellow with Dr. Robert LaPrade at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado (2018–2019), and has clinical experience from Olympiatoppen, Oslo University Hospital, and the Sports Clinic at Aarhus University Hospital.
He has long-standing involvement with elite sports, including serving as the team physician for the Norwegian Alpine Ski Team since 2014, and previously as team physician for the Danish Football Association (DBU) for the U16 and U19 national teams.
Marc is in the final stage of his PhD in cruciate ligament surgery and has published numerous scientific articles and book chapters. He is active in international professional societies including ESSKA, ISAKOS, and the ACL Study Group, and regularly contributes as a lecturer at national and international courses and conferences.
