About Madeleine
Dr. Engen is a specialist in gynecology with a special interest and expertise in urogynecology, which deals with conditions such as urinary incontinence and vaginal prolapse, as well as extended "6-week check-ups" after childbirth with a focus on the pelvic floor and birth injuries. She has research experience in urinary incontinence and has presented her work at international congresses. Dr. Engen has previously had professional responsibility for urogynecology at Bærum Hospital. Dr. Engen also has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of menopause.
Dr. Engen is a clear voice for women's health, sharing her knowledge both in the clinic, in the media and in international arenas. She is the subject manager for gynecology and founder of CMedical Women's Health, and she is a member of the European Urogynaecological Association (EUGA).
