Robot-assisted surgery is an advanced but gentle treatment performed through small skin openings like classic keyhole surgery. The surgeon controls instruments electronically from a console beside the patient. Machine-held instruments allow very precise movements, and a high-resolution stereoscopic 3D camera gives an exceptional view. It is often preferred for complex operations when open surgery can be avoided, with faster recovery and lower complication risk. Most patients go home within 24 hours. We offer robot-assisted surgery for fibroids (fertility-sparing), deep endometriosis, hysterectomy (including enlarged uterus), hernia, benign enlarged prostate (RASP) and prostate cancer (RALP), among others.
