About Nicolai

Nicolai Wessel is an experienced specialist in surgery and urology, with particular expertise in laparoscopic urological procedures and the treatment of prostate cancer. Formerly a senior consultant at Aker Hospital, he is considered one of Europe's most experienced surgeons and urologists in robotic-assisted surgery. Nicolai began his work with robotic surgery in 2007, following five years of experience in laparoscopic kidney and prostate surgery, and he has performed over 1,400 robotic-assisted prostate cancer surgeries.

He has also participated in research published in reputable journals such as the Scandinavian Journal of Urology, European Urology (published by the European Association of Urology), Urology, Nutrition and Cancer, Neurourology and Urodynamics, and The Journal of Urology (published by the American Urological Association).
