About Ida
Dr. Bjørntvedt is an experienced gynecologist who previously worked as a consultant at the fertility department at Rikshospitalet. She also heads the Vulva Forum and is responsible for CMedical's vulva clinic.
She has particular expertise in menopause and women's health throughout this stage of life.
Ida currently works in both the public sector and at CMedical with women who have premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) before the age of 40, early menopause, and other hormonal disorders.
Our vulva clinic has a unique multidisciplinary team made up of a gynecologist, dermatologist, sexologist, psychologist, and a physiotherapist specializing in the pelvic floor.
Together, the specialists take an interdisciplinary approach to a wide range of issues. With solid professional knowledge and a holistic perspective, she meets each patient with confidence, understanding, and commitment.
