    About Hildegunn

Hildegunn has an extensive clinical background in women's health. She began her career as a nurse in a gynecology department, and after completing her midwifery qualification in 2000, she worked continuously across the delivery, postpartum, and ultrasound departments at Bærum Hospital. In 2012, she completed a one-year post-graduate specialization in ultrasound diagnostics for midwives at the National Center for Fetal Medicine (NTNU Trondheim). She has also completed specialized courses in early ultrasound and advanced fetal medicine, equipping her with expert knowledge in assessing fetal development and well-being.

    • Fetal medicine assessment: Safe follow-up and evaluation for pregnancies requiring additional monitoring or specialized assessments.
    • Consultation and birth preparation: Guidance for birth anxiety, processing previous birth experiences, and preparing both you and your partner for childbirth and the postpartum period.

    • Advanced ultrasound: Trained in fetal medicine to perform thorough, safe, and precise ultrasound examinations.
    • Holistic preparation: Backed by extensive experience in delivery and postpartum care, providing valuable guidance to equip you and your partner mentally and physically for birth and parenthood.
