Hand and elbow surgery is an area where we have gathered some of the country's most experienced specialists. In advanced surgery, our surgeons often work in pairs — in so-called "two-teams" — so that two specialists stand together at the operating table.
The diagnosis is established through standard examination and, if necessary, ultrasound. For mild and early symptoms, analgesics and anti-inflammatory medications may suffice. Injection therapy using PRP (platelet-rich plasma) or low-dose cortisone can be considered. A period of rest may be required. When symptoms are more severe and persistent, surgery is indicated.
Surgery: Performed under local anesthesia. An incision is made on the outside of the elbow to remove the damaged tendon tissue, and the bone is stimulated to bleed to enhance healing potential.
