What does NIPT screen for?

Using a maternal blood sample combined with ultrasound, we can screen for trisomy 13, 18 or 21 — chromosomal conditions.

Is NIPT safe?

Because we only need a blood sample from the mother, there is no increased risk of miscarriage, unlike procedures such as chorionic villus sampling or amniocentesis.
