CMedical, which has the Nordic region's most complete private women's health service, and Nørs Care, which is behind Norway's largest women's health app Nørs, have entered into a strategic collaboration agreement with the aim of increasing knowledge about fertility among women.
The women's health app Nørs is strong among pregnant women and those who have recently given birth in Norway and has over 200,000 female users. Now the content of Nørs is to be expanded and help women throughout their lives, from the first menstruation until menopause.
- We have a strong professional environment in fertility, both in Norway and Sweden. We feel that the need for knowledge-based and accessible information about fertility is great, and we want to contribute to strengthening the health skills of women of childbearing age, says Unni-Lovise Godager Berge, Acting Marketing Director at CMedical.
- Together, CMedical and Nørs Care will contribute to closing the knowledge gap in women's health and fertility. CMedical's strong professional environment will be an important resource for us, says Alexander Rein, one of the founders of Nørs Care.
Seek help before it takes too long
CMedical learns that many who struggle to get pregnant go too long without seeking help or understanding what the challenges might be.
- In this platform, we have the opportunity to reach women and couples in an early phase where they have a desire for children. We can help shed light on any challenges you may experience around getting pregnant, says Birgitte Mitlid-Mork, gynecologist and fertility specialist at CMedical.
- Where we see it may be necessary, in addition to fertility treatment, we have good opportunities for fertility-preserving measures, including robot-assisted surgery as the only private player in Norway, she concludes.
