About Madeleine

Dr. Engen is a specialist in gynecology with a particular interest and expertise in urogynecology, addressing conditions such as urinary incontinence and vaginal prolapse, as well as extended "6-week check-ups" after childbirth, focusing on pelvic floor health and birth-related injuries. She has research experience in urinary incontinence and has presented her work at international conferences. Dr. Engen has previously held professional responsibility for urogynecology at Bærum Hospital. She also has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating menopause.

Dr. Engen is a prominent voice in women’s health, sharing her expertise both in the clinic, through media, and on international platforms. She is the medical lead for gynecology and the founder of CMedical Women’s Health, and as a member of the European Urogynaecological Association (EUGA), she contributes to advancing women’s health at a European level.
